There's also the early uniform of the South Carolina Rifles (Orr's), which, although grey, had plenty of green facings. This lasted until after the Seven Days. Similarly the Texas Lancers sported green facings. Now there's a unit I've never seen modelled. A little goes a long way |

In that their uniforms were all green. I did know that during the war their uniform became more standard issue due to supply. I even had one guy in a round hat. It seems my creative side got surpressed as I changed him out for a cap. I stayed the course and made them all look like their original uniform all green. After painting Napoleonics for 40 years I was anxious to paint simple generic ACW uniforms. However, at some point in time I will add in some specific units, so many thanks for mentioning those units who were different. Best regards, Glenn |
