TOPIC: 1809 Austians |
Standard User Posts: 4 darren mannix 3rd Jun 2022 06:56:30 Im wondering if Baccus would consider a figure to suit Austrian 1809 formed Jagers, Vienna Woods Landwehr, other Landwehr and Archduke Charles Legion troops. I think all could be done with the same figure. Corsehat type. Alternately is there a proxy that would surfice. Over the hills |

Standard User Posts: 4 darren mannix 4th Jun 2022 06:27:31 Thanks Glenn i have painted two battalions of these Landwehr and very happy with them. They are in Greatcoat and i guess im being bit fussy. I did use the Austrian Jager skirmish figure tightly packed in two ranks on a base to reprsent formed Jagers and it looked ok. Given that the Austrian army of 1809 had at least a dozen Battalions of this type in Corsehat , plus the Regular Jagers, i thought it would be a fitting and worthwhile addition to any Austrian army. Anyway, back to painting more Austrians. Over the hills |
