In the photograph, the Queen in her "ride" follows her elephants forward towards the enemy. In the photograph, several Roman legions have deployed from their marching camp on the left to face the Greeks from Argolis and Achaea. Further in the distance on the right, the Spartans and Athenians hold the high ground with more Romans advancing towards them. ![]() Standard User Posts: 255 Little battles with AncientsDavid Kay 28th Jul 2025 07:57:09 Three of my Near Eastern armies took to the battlefield in my latest solo battle. In the photograph, Abgar, Maz'ur of Orhai, and his cavalry are currently holding the king of the hill title, but the Armenians of Tigranes the Lesser are gathering to to remove him from the top spot. In the distance, Antiochos III of Commagene leads his men across a river ford and towards the main battle area. ![]() Standard User Posts: 32 Little battles with Ancientsloterver 27th Aug 2025 08:40:58 No worries about the painting—sometimes the battle report itself is where the real story comes alive! Writing a battle report is basically like telling a story: it helps to set the scene with details about the armies, terrain, and scenario, then walk through the turns highlighting key moves and twists. Adding a bit of narrative flair turns it from a dry recital into a captivating read (even if it’s your “good snooze” moment!). Sharing photos or maps if you can is a nice touch, but the heart is in your storytelling. So, don’t stress about the “bad painting”—your battle report will bring the action to life all on its own! ____________________________ https://www.medipakiet.pl/blog/alkomat-tradycyjny-i-alkomat-online-jak-dziala/
