Imperial Project : the battle of Tunis 255 BC! LEmpereur 30th Dec 2021 01:13:23 The terrain is that of the rule "Age ofHannibal " scenario... and We don't have enough knowledge to question it. What do you think about it ? L'Empereur Béte et Méchant vous invite à visitez : Le Blog : https://lempereurzoom13.blogspot.fr/ & Le Projet 2020 : https://2020batailledeloigny.blogspot.fr/... Standard User Posts: 186 David Kay 4th Jan 2022 09:00:43 Thanks. I hadn't come across the battle before, although having re-checked my reference books some refer to it as the Battle of Bagradas. Apparently there is another battle of Tunis but in 310BCE. As usual with ancient battles details of the topography are generally vague or missing, even to the extent that it is not always possible to locate the site of the battle, even in approximate terms, and this battle seems to fall into that category. The only things I'd consider to add to the terrain is a possible crossing point of the river potentially linked to a road / track which both armies may have used to approach the site. Both camps appeared to be fairly close together, so you might want to consider if these need to be represented. |
Thank you for your interest David! :-) We are going to think about giving the Romans the possibility of fleeing by fording! ;-) L'Empereur Béte et Méchant vous invite à visitez : Le Blog : https://lempereurzoom13.blogspot.fr/ & Le Projet 2020 : https://2020batailledeloigny.blogspot.fr/...
