Also following along. Love the project & also how you are doing your basing. Have a copy of the Hanibal rules we also are planning to use....possibly in gaul.

Thanks for posting, inspirational....  Bob

Thank you Dourpouritain!

:-)

Bob, thanks for following this thread! We are interested in your invasion of Gaul!

;-)

For the bases, we spread a thick layer of glue, then the sand sold by Baccus 6mm, then a layer of ocher paint and light beige brushing. The rocks are painted black and brushed white. Finally, we apply Baccus 6mm grass with an electrostatic machine, which is very well suited to this scale!
Besides, we have to recommend some... Our Imperial Stock is visibly decreasing!
;-)

Just checking back on your progress...first bases are looking great.  Just wanting to ask about how you are basing your med /hvy inf...heavies look to be 8 wide (2 baccus strips...) with 4 lines... how are you going to mount any med inf per base? As well what do you have planned for cav/ base. I realize the rules say however you want them...but looking to see what others have tried & what might look better.  Can't quite make it out in the pictures (old eye sight)   Thanks.... Bob

Yes the Army is looking great...some very nice painting there. I understand about other projects getting in the way. (Sadly me too) Hopefully we see the Carthaginians down the road. I find i can crank out Romans with no problems.... verry little enthusiasm for Gauls... I think I will have to visit your blog page more often..    Bob
