More Previews and Salute orders

Just a quick piccy of my new big-base ECW Scots battalia. I'll do some 'beauty shots' over the next couple of days, but this should give a you a good idea of what you can expect.

What I really like about these units is that they actually show disciplined formations with officers and NCOs in logical positions. I've recently seen a lot of big figure ECW regiments/battalia. Not only are they all quite small in terms of numbers, but they follow the current culture of trying to get every single rank and file figure in a different pose. To my mind that completely loses the plot - it's only when you see large scale formations that the absolute need for uniform drill and postures becomes apparent. Everyone on Anyway, I hope you like the Baccus version of the Earl of Douglas's regiment of foot.

Next up, here's an update on our new WW2 German 88mm model. Forgive an mistakes on the painting - I am very much a novice in terms of technique and colour choice on 20th subjects.

If all goes well this will be on sale at Salute along with a few other choice pieces.
