As usual excellent figure painting and terrain. Do you have any wider shots of the whole battle to give a sense of the spectacle and scale?

Not from the previous skirmishes, unfortunately. But I am starting another low point HC! this weekend. Here's a preview of my foray into the Latin Wars. Played on a tiny 2x3 field. I'll try to take wider shots of the battlefield and turns/play-by-plays going forward!

Hey folks,

Finally got around to finishing something I'd filmed last summer. Not sure you could call it a battle report - more a celebration of 6mm wargaming, than anything. Anyways, I've never made a video before, but I think it does the minis justice. Enjoy :)

An epic confrontation between Carthage and Rome. Though Carthage enjoyed some early success with their Libyan veteran infantry corps and a warband of mercenary Celts, it was the Roman Hastati and Triarii who earned the MVP nods in this engagement. These stubborn infantry held their ground in the centre of the field, fighting back several heavy  units and even forcing a Carthaginian elephant into a panicked retreat. The resulting stampede was devastating to the Punic front lines.

Always fun to get a lot of the figures out. Looks and sounds like an interesting battle.

It was indeed, David! And I was able to introduce the hobby to a few more newcomers, too. A win all 'round.

A few new Celtic warbands to add to the horde...

Good to see the hoplites rolling high dice!
