Joy of Six 2022 preview: Horsell Common 1895

8th Jun 2022

This week’s preview is MAD gamers HG Wells inspired Horsell Common.   As with the majority of the games at this year’s show, this is one for you to join in and play, and it really does look like fun!

No one would have believed, in the middle of the 20th century, that human affairs were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's.

Over Horsell Common the steam and smoke are slowly lifting, marching in an unnatural manner, the Martian machines push through all obstacles.

Facing them and prepared for the grim conflict are the hastily gathered local militia and regular units, some recently returned from South Africa still wearing their Khaki garb.

The Tripods players need to pass the assembled defenders and make their way through them and on towards London. Whilst the British must destroy them or at least destroy 50% of them to achieve a minor victory.

We now have 23 confirmed games and Heroics & Ros have just added themselves to the list of traders attending.   All in all, it's shaping up to be yet again, a truely wonderful show.   You can find all of the updates and details at www.joysofsix.co.uk
