Sadly, ANOTHER IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT

Firstly, the Good News.   The Consignment package of orders that featured in the post of December 7th has been recovered.   It is now being prepared for despatch and will be on its way tomorrow.   This has affected orders with tracking  numbers between TP-6519229 and TP-6519588 inclusive.   These existing details will remain valid.

Next, the Bad News.   Somehow, Lightning has struck twice, and the carriers have ‘misplaced’ a second consolidated consignment of two dozen orders.  Once again, we are working hard to sort this out.  The affected tracking numbers are between TP-6594862 and TP-6594885 inclusive.

If you are affected by this, please bear with us.  We are working hard to track this down and get the orders to where they need to be.

Another update, but no time for pretty pictures

Once again, a pretty boring post – not even any cat pictures this week.  That’s not to say that we aren’t being busy, and, thanks to the casting team we have made huge inroads to the orders, trying to get as many as is possible before the Xmas shutdown.   To that end, this week, we have processed order #28609.   That’s nearly 200 for the week.

What IS happening behind the scenes is putting the finishing touches to the plans for new releases for 2024.  As usual we have lots of plans, some of which may actually turn into real product, but surely there’s no harm in having dreams?

We are also working on getting some of said new releases ready for releases early in the New Year.   It’s when we are quietest when we are at our most dangerous….

Christmas is coming...

Today is a fairly typical ‘leading up to Christmas’ announcement.  We are all working flat out at getting as many orders out as quickly as we are able as we approach, ‘That time of year’.  Thanks ot the titanic efforts of the casting team, I am happy to announce that we are up to order number #26708.   I will let those of you with better maths skill than I to work out the number of orders processed since last week, (#26442), but it is a definitely a record on our part.

As you might expect, we haven’t had much time to think about new releases or range developments, but we are approaching the annual Baccus year end report when I will give you an idea of what to expect in 2024.   I think you will find it’ ‘interesting’….

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENT

I have just been informed by our carriers that a complete batch of orders have ‘gone missing’ in transit.   Although investigations continue, experience tells me that these are highly unlikely to surface.  As a result, I am treating these all as lost beyond recovery.  This has only affected overseas orders for anyone receiving a tracking number between TP-6519229 and TP-6519588 inclusive.

I apologise if yours is one of the affected orders.  I am arranging for them all to be recast and will get the replacements sent out as soon as is possible.  However, given the seasonal pressures on both us as a company and postal services in general, there will, inevitably, be a delay in them getting to you.  

Once your replacement is on its way, you will get a fresh tracking number.  

I can only hope that the courier service finds it harder to mislay our consignments.

A cat-free update

We are now preparing for our final wargames show of the year, but before we have more of that, there is the small matter of this week’s order number, which stands at #26442.    Due to the cruel and unusual practices involved in our production process, some of you with orders prior to this number will actually get their orders processed next week, while a lucky few of you in advance of it  will have received notice that yours is on its way.   Such are the ways of casters and mere mortals should not meddle in their affairs….

And this week's magic number is...

I know today is Monday, but this really is Friday's announcement.

Due to a localised disturbance in the space time continuum centred on the Neepsend area of Sheffield, this is the update that should have appeared last Friday.   All I have to is to find where I left Saturday lying around.  I found Sunday pretty quickly, but I think that the cats had Saturday and have hidden it somewhere. 

Anyway, here is last Friday’s magic order number, which stands at #26164.  

New Successor codes now available

This is one of those weeks where the pesky, 'technical issues', means that there will be no magic number given out today.  The plan is for, 'Normality', to resume next week.  On the other hand, we have some honest to goodness new releases to tell you about in the form of the resculpted Successor codes.

Putting the 'Success' into Successors...

Once again, Friday has come lurking from the shadows, crept up and mugged me while I still hadn’t realised that Thursday had left the room.   After a bit of scrabbling I’ve hurriedly found this week’s magic order number, which this week stands at #25953.

Releasing new codes and adding items to our ranges is one of those processes that goes on continually behind the scenes at Baccus HQ.   As is apparent from the outcomes of our uncannily accurate annual predictions it can also be a surprisingly uncertain and unpredictable undertaking.   A glimpse behind the curtain would reveal all the drama, the arguments, the tantrums and the tears that go into the creative process.  If you thought it’s just a matter of banging a few master figures into a mould and springing the end results on a grateful world, the think again.  Really, think again!

t’s nice to report that we’ve not had a repeat of last week's meteorological shenanigans, and so it’s been relatively ‘normal’.  Many thanks to all who wished us well through the deluge.   Apart from a day of our village being cut off from the outside world, we came through unscathed, albeit in quite a soggy state.
