That Was the Salute That Was...

Before I get stuck into this weeks’ update, as of last Friday, we had sent out all order up to number #18560 .  

We are now in the recovery period following a very hectic Salute weekend.  Many thanks to those of you who turned up and kept us busy on Saturday.   We never get a real chance to talk to customers at this event, but it was great to see so many familiar faces.  However, the real highlight has to be Per Broden’s wonderful Poltava game getting the Best of Show award.   This is the first time that a 6mm game has ever achieved this, and there was some very stiff opposition.   It is a testimony not only to Per’s hard work and determination, but also to his vision and flair for presentation.    Well done from all of Team Baccus – an award that was richly deserved.

As the afterglow from Salute subsides, we are now faced with the prospect of three shows in successive weeks, starting with Battleground on the 20th.   Given that, post Salute, our racks looked as if they had been ravaged by giant lead-eating locusts it really is in your best interests to get pre-orders in advance for Battleground, Warfare and Recon.   We will have little or no chance of restocking the single code packs, so these in particular will be very badly hit.
