Order update, a reopened cart and some rather aggressive Swedish chappies...
It's that time of the week again, where you get to find out where you are in the Lottery of Life that is the Baccus order system. This week we have had the big drum banging a faster beat and applied the lash with more vigour with the result that we have got to order #17338. (As usual, there a couple of orders prior to this that will have to wait until early next week.) I would like to give a big shout out to Andrew for stepping in at short notice and doing great work on casting, and Lindy for packing and invoicing a record number of orders.
New releases, holidays and a short closure.
Firstly, many thanks to all of you who messaged, emailed and called us with great feedback on the Joy of Virtual Six. It really is nice to get that feedback, and we are so glad that so many of you managed to access the event and got so much from it.
Moving on, we have the week's number which is #17187. We have caught up from having a delay of ten weeks to currently just three, which is a massive improvement and one that we intend to improve on.

I am very happy to report that as of close of business today we have sent order #17003 on its way. This really does represent a ramping up of our progress as a simple bit of maths will show. We are catching up rapidly, and I'd like to express my thanks to the casting and admin team of Tony, John and Lindy for their hard work.

This is a post with Good News and Bad News…
First, the Good News. Thanks to the sterling efforts of the casting team and the magnificent packing squad, we have reached order number #16853. This isn’t just an abstract number, it means that we are making real inroads into our backorders and making progress towards ‘normality’, (whatever that means). As a result, following last week’s raising of the order limit, we are once again raising the bar. With immediate effect you can order up to £150 from us. Thanks to all of you for your patience and following our rules - we are only able to progress as we have because of your co-operation.
July 4th - The Joy of Virtual Six
The word 'disappointed' doesn't begin to describe how we felt when we had to cancel the Joy of Six for the second year running. From the messages that we received, we know that feeling was shared with many of you who had been planning the annual pilgrimage to Sheffield. We can't replace the unique experience that is JOS, but what we are doing this year is to bring you the Joy of Virtual Six.
Yet more orders sent, yet more WW2 releases and yes, another preview piccy.
Yes, it's that time of the week again. You know the one. If you are a Baccus customer, one little number will either fill you with hope or cast you into stygian gloom. If you're not a Baccus customer, then you just shrug and move on.
This week, we have reached order number 16723 so things are moving very steadily as we catch up with the backlog.
We've even managed to continue with the new releases.
