Oh my, this is going to be an involved post! Firstly let's get the usual update on orders out of the way. As of today, we have reached order number 17091.

I am very happy to report that as of close of business today we have sent order #17003 on its way. This really does represent a ramping up of our progress as a simple bit of maths will show. We are catching up rapidly, and I'd like to express my thanks to the casting and admin team of Tony, John and Lindy for their hard work.

This is a post with Good News and Bad News…
First, the Good News. Thanks to the sterling efforts of the casting team and the magnificent packing squad, we have reached order number #16853. This isn’t just an abstract number, it means that we are making real inroads into our backorders and making progress towards ‘normality’, (whatever that means). As a result, following last week’s raising of the order limit, we are once again raising the bar. With immediate effect you can order up to £150 from us. Thanks to all of you for your patience and following our rules - we are only able to progress as we have because of your co-operation.
July 4th - The Joy of Virtual Six
The word 'disappointed' doesn't begin to describe how we felt when we had to cancel the Joy of Six for the second year running. From the messages that we received, we know that feeling was shared with many of you who had been planning the annual pilgrimage to Sheffield. We can't replace the unique experience that is JOS, but what we are doing this year is to bring you the Joy of Virtual Six.
Yet more orders sent, yet more WW2 releases and yes, another preview piccy.
Yes, it's that time of the week again. You know the one. If you are a Baccus customer, one little number will either fill you with hope or cast you into stygian gloom. If you're not a Baccus customer, then you just shrug and move on.
This week, we have reached order number 16723 so things are moving very steadily as we catch up with the backlog.
We've even managed to continue with the new releases.

Another week, another number, another set of new releases. Just a normal seven days here at Baccus central. This week we have reached order number 16610. This represents a mammoth effort from the Baccus casting team in terms of getting the moulds spun and the admin in getting the orders invoiced, packed and despatched. I’d like to thank them publicly for their efforts.
A Big Cat on the loose and order updates.
I am very pleased to announce that this week we have cast, packed and posted up to order #16449. (As usual, there may be some orders before this yet to be completed and some after it are already on their way.) We have another forty or so already lined up for processing next week, after the Bank holiday. If we can continue at this rate I anticipate being able to raise the value of the order limit in the next three weeks or so.
In between our frantic scramble for production, we are still looking at keeping the flow of new releases going. This week, we are adding to the Second World War German range. First out of the traps is a simply awesome model of the Panther G.

The lash continues to be applied to the poor wretches spinning the moulds in the dark dungeon that is the Baccus workshop. As a result, we've got up to order number 16343. Don't worry if you have an order prior to this and haven't had notification that its on its way - it will be sent next week. I have taken delivery of a brand new whip, as the old one was worn away with use, and encouragement will be given for even greater productivity.
